We are currently looking for projects to get involved in, with councils, cities and regions throughout the UK. We can also deliver projects to businesses, housing associations, charities and other organisations, including parks and green space initiatives.
The platform behind TreeTalk, Greentalk, can be used to create maps of urban forests and green networks. It can generate unique walking or cycling routes. It can connect residents to their local nature and green infrastructure. Experience in London has shown huge public engagement potential and the consequent incentivisation to choose active travel routes and get involved. TreeTalk works in any location where local environment information is available including any combination of natural or other points of interest.
Our Tree Species Directory and Photo Library expertise can be used to inform and explain the benefits of urban trees and green infrastructure.
We’ve found this combination of trails, mini-guides, and direct personalisation are a great way of making very dense information more accessible. They break down some of the barriers to deeper appreciation of the complexity of the natural environment.
Greentalk may be deployed in many different ways to cover diverse situations. If you have an idea that you would like to explore then please do just get in touch, we'd love to have a conversation and help make it a reality! Get in touch at [email protected]
We launched TreeTalk Abundance London in collaboration with Abundance London. TreeTalk is helping recruit and coordinate volunteers, caring for over 100 street trees newly planted by Hounslow and Ealing Councils in West London.
Featuring unique virtual rain gauges for every newly planted tree, TreeTalk is helping people really connect with the new tree outside their front door.
Check it out at abundancelondon.treetalk.co.uk. Please get in touch if you would like to do the same in your area.
